Highgrove: Triple Shooting At Strip Mall Leaves One Dead

10.03.2019 | 6:21 PM | HIGHGROVE – One person was killed and two others were injured after a shooting at a local strip mall, Thursday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with multiple victims down at a strip mall located in the 1300 block of Center Street around 6:21 PM.

Units arriving on scene located three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced one victim deceased on scene and transported two others to area hospitals. At least one of the hospitalized victims was reported to be in critical condition.

It was unclear what led up to the shooting but witnesses reported seeing a maroon minivan fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed shortly after shots rang out.

No suspect description was available and the shopping center was closed while officials investigated.
