High Surf Damages Ocean Beach Pier

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-24-24 7:00 am
LOCATION: OB Pier
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

1. The high surf is pounding the pier and causing more damage.
2. This morning, a second concrete piling was broken off of the pier 3/4 quarters of the way out.
3. The pier was closed permanently due to storm damage from last year.
4. 2 pilings are now missing from the pier.
