High Speed Pursuit Ends in Fiery Crash, Suspect Arrested

11.23.2020 | 7:23 AM | SAN DIEGO – A Police pursuit began at Federal Blvd and Sumac Dr after the male driver of a Mercedes refused to stop for a traffic violation. The pursuit led to eastbound Hwy 94 and reached speeds over 100 mph. The driver took the Kelton Rd and attempted to turn onto Kelton Rd, but failed to make the turn. The car left the roadway and crashed rolling and flipping into a canyon stopping approx 70 yards from the street. Officers ran to aid the driver and also found a juvenile as a passenger in the car. Both were extricated safely as the car caught on fire. Both males were transported to a local hospital with the driver being under arrest. For licensing, contact info@onscene.tv
