1. Riverside Police Department engaged in a failure to yield in the area of Chigo Ave and University Ave in Riverside for traffic violations.
2. At that time the driver of the vehicle led them on a high-speed pursuit through city streets in speeds excess of 100 mph.
3. In the area of Blaine St and Canyon Crest, the driver crashed hitting multiple parked cars causing major damage.
4. Alcohol does appear to be a factor according to officers at the pursuit termination.
5. The driver was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
