DETAILS:
- A serious multi-vehicle crash was reported this evening at I-10 eastbound and Gateway Blvd East.
- According to witness accounts, the driver of a Ford Raptor was traveling eastbound on I-10 at a high rate of speed cutting through multiple lanes.
- The Raptor rear-ended the driver of an SUV causing major damage.
- At the same time the Raptor rolled over and veered of the highway crashing into a massive freeway sign.
- The Raptor caught fire after the crash.
- The driver was pulled out of the truck by witnesses at the scene before it completely caught fire.
- The driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries including the driver of the Raptor.
- All patients were transported to local hospitals in serious condition.
- All eastbound lanes are remained completely shutdown until further notice.
