Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision at a Chevron gas station.

First responders arrived and located a single vehicle crash, with the car on fire and the driver trapped inside.

Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the blaze, and extricated the patient in 10 minutes.

The driver was transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition.

The impact from the crash sent the engine flying out of the engine bay, and it landed approximately 30 feet from the vehicle next to a gas pump.

The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and jumped the curb prior to the vehicle bursting into flames.
