High Speed Fatal Crash After Driver Runs Red Light | Houston

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-14-23 / 9:37 pm LOCATION: 4301 Antoine Dr. CITY: Houston DETAILS: HPD units responded a two car crash. One vehicle was on fire. *** Arriving officers were able to pull the driver away from the burning vehicle. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. It was reported a Jeep was trying to make a turn from eastbound to northbound Antoine. That Jeep collided with a sedan in the intersection that ran the red light traveling southbound at a high rate of speed. The sedan left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene. Investigators believe the deceased male is the at fault driver. The driver of the Jeep did not suffer injuries.
