High-Speed Crash on Hwy 125: Sports Car Collides, Truck Flies Off Freeway!

DETAILS:

1. Witnesses told the CHP that the male driver of a black-colored sports car was weaving in & out of heavy traffic on the northbound Hwy 125 and speeding at approximately 100 mph.
2. The driver attempted to split the lanes between two vehicles and rear-ended the male driver of the Chevy Silverado.
3. The driver of the truck lost control and went flying off the freeway at the Jamacha Rd exit.
4. The truck hit two large trees and severed both trees.
5. The truck went down the embankment and was rolling.
6. The truck finally landed back on its wheels over 60 yards down the off-ramp.
7. The truck’s roof was torn away from the cab.
8. Good Samaritans ran to the driver’s aid and were extricated from the wreckage.
9. The driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
10. The driver of the sports car fled the scene.
11. The CHP is investigating.
