High-Speed Crash on Arlington Ave in Riverside – Multiple Cars Damaged

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-24-23, 5:18 p.m.

DETAILS:

  1. Riverside Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to reports of a multiple-car traffic collision.
  2. When the first units arrived on scene, they found 4 cars all with major to moderate damage, and one person trapped in a vehicle.
  3. Firefighters extricated the man.
  4. He was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
  5. According to the other drivers involved in the collision, the man who was trapped was traveling at a high rate of speed and maneuvered around cars in front of him, causing him to go the wrong way into oncoming traffic, where he hit the white Dodge Charger and the Kia Sorento that was carrying a woman and her young child. A 4th vehicle was involved, a black BMW.
  6. Luckily no one else but the man who caused the crash was injured, but all were very shaken.
  7. At this time, it is not clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
