- A Narcotics Task Force attempted to detain a male suspect in the parking lot of a shopping center.
- The suspect got into his car (white car) and fled onto Sweetwater Rd. heading north.
- The speeds were reaching over 75 mph.
- At Tyler, he attempted to go around a stopped vehicle and went head-on into several other vehicles.
- A total of 5 vehicles were involved.
- 2 major injuries (including the suspect) and several people had minor injuries.
- Most were transported to local hospitals.
- Sweetwater Road is closed in both directions from Valencia to llidica St.
