DETAILS:
- The main storm is upon us and heavy rain has started to slam the inland empire.
- The heavy rain is making highways and freeways dangerous as it is causing vehicles to hydro plane, and reducing visibility.
- In the city of Rialto, Baseline road between Ayala and Alder is completely flooded on the west bound side.
- Cars could be seen blasting through the intersection, or driving ever so cautiously through the flooded intersection of ayala and baseline.
- We took a drive down the west bound side just to see how bad it really was, and found the water to be quite deep in some places.
- The worst of the system is set to hit in just a couple hours and last through the day as a flood watch is in effect for most of southern california.
