HCSO Deputy Killed In Shootout With Catalytic Converter Thives | Houston

03.31.2022 | 8:45 PM | HOUSTON – HCSO deputy shot during a possible confrontation with auto burglary suspects in the parking lot. The deputy had CPR in progress upon arrival. per Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, HCSO- deputy and his wife were shopping at the store when they returned to their truck to find at least 2 or 3 suspects attempting to steal the catalytic convertor from the deputies truck. An altercation ensued and became a shooting, with 2 suspects and the deputy shot. the deputy was transported from the scene and ultimately passed at Houston Northwest. Deputies located the 2 suspects who were shot, after they drove up to the hospital. They have been detained are under medical care at the same hospital.
