Harvard Park: Pursuit Crash Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

06.21.2020 | 11:50 PM | LOS ANGELES – One person was dead and three others were injured after a pursuit suspect crashed into another vehicle, late Sunday night.

Officers attempted to stop a possible stolen vehicle near the intersection of West Vernon and South Western avenues in the Harvard Park area around 11:50 PM.

The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit that lasted about 10 minutes but ended abruptly when the suspect crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of South Normandie Avenue and West 60th Place.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene located two victims in each involved vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that fled from officers was alive but injured however his passenger was deceased.

Both occupants from the vehicle other vehicle were also alive but injured.

All three were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The scene of the crash was cordoned off while officers investigated.
