Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Injured After Major Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 930pm 9-5-23
LOCATION: FM 1960 & Traeschwig

DETAILS:

1. Per HCSO Watch Command, an assist the officer call dropped in Precinct 4’s area, as numerous calls poured in for a major crash
2. C 4 deputies arrived on location to find an HCSO deputy in uniform involved in a major crash who was not conscious or alert
3. The deputy was transported to Houston NW and is currently in stable condition
4. The deputy was en route to his shift with HCSO at the time of the crash
5. Precinct 4 is handling the 3 vehicle crash investigation, and at least 3 parties were transported to local hospitals
