Harley Rider Killed In Crash

DPS Troopers, Mesa and Tempe Fire and AMR responded to a report of an accident involving a motorcycle on the US-60 eastbound underneath Dobson Road.

Troopers arrived and located a Harley-Davidson style motorcycle and a red Corvette that crashed underneath the Dobson Road bridge.

The motorcycle continued to slide down the freeway after crashing before coming to a rest in the HOV lane.

According to DPS radio traffic:
Upon arrival Troopers found bystanders performing CPR on the motorcycle rider on the side of the road.

Mesa and Tempe Fire along with a AMR ambulance arrived at the scene and began taking over medical treatment of the rider before pronouncing them deceased on the scene.

The US-60 Eastbound lanes were closed at the L-101 as investigators worked to determine the cause of the collision.

Two vehicles were stopped in the gore-point of the on-ramp at Dobson Road, their involvement in the collision is unknown.
