Gunmen Open Fire On Crowd In Houston

At approximately 9:52 p.m. on June 9, 2026, Houston Police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Fair Street that left three men injured.

According to investigators, a black Ford Bronco carrying multiple suspects pulled up to a group of people and opened fire without warning.

A 42 year-old man was struck in the leg and hand, while a 22 year-old man suffered a graze wound to the neck. A third victim, believed to be in his 20s, was assaulted and pistol-whipped during the incident.

Authorities said the suspects briefly exited the vehicle, attacked one of the victims, then got back into the Bronco and fled the area before officers arrived.

One of the shooting victims was transported to a nearby fire station by a private vehicle, while the other injured men were transported by ambulance.

Investigators believe as many as four male suspects were involved. No arrests have been made, and a motive for the shooting has not been determined.

All three victims are expected to survive.

The investigation remains ongoing.
