Gunfire Exchanged During Road Rage Incident In Houston

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on April 19, 2026, deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 3500 block of Greenhouse Road in Houston.

Investigators say three vehicles were traveling southbound when a dispute between two of them escalated into a road rage incident. Firearms were reportedly produced, and gunfire was exchanged between the occupants of the two vehicles.

Two adult males, ages 19 and 20, were detained at the scene. A third vehicle, which had a teenage female and a 9 year-old child inside, was not involved in the exchange of gunfire.

During the incident, one of the vehicles collided with another, causing it to overturn. No gunshot injuries were reported.

The investigation remains ongoing.
