Gunfire Erupts at New Year’s Party With Over 100 Attendees in Houston

DETAILS:
- HPD and HFD responded for reports of a shooting
- Arriving officers located a male with a gunshot wound to the back
- Officers located a second gunshot victim, appeared to be a female
- HFD transported three people conditions unknown to local trauma centers
- Officers learned there was a large party at an air bnb which is where the shooting took place
- Over100 people in their 20s are reported to have been at the party when the shooting occurred
- Video of fireworks still smoldering in the driveway
- Scores of people in their 20’s seen lingering around
- HFD transported at least 3, including a woman who did not appear to have a gunshot wound
- Party goer stated she saw 2-3 injured people after hitting the ground during the shooting
