Green Meadows: Crash Leaves Pedestrian Dead

08.01.2020 | 12:30 AM | LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was dead after a crash, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 8900 block of South Central Avenue, near 90th Street, in the Green Meadows area around 12:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down in northbound lanes and a vehicle with damage stopped nearby.

Firefighter paramedics attempted to render aid but later pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene.

The driver that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and appeared to be cooperating with law enforcement.
