Green Meadows: Barricade Involving SWAT Team Ends No Suspects Found

10.13.2019 | 11:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A SWAT team used tear gas to make entry into a smoke shop where up to seven armed suspects were believed to be hiding but did not locate anyone, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a man with a gun near in the 9800 block of South Main Street in the Green Meadows area around 11:00 PM.

Officers arriving on scene attempted to contact a man inside a smoke shop but did not receive a reply.

A SWAT team responded to the scene and surrounded the building for several hours before deploying tear gas and making entry around 4:30 AM.

Once inside no suspects were located.

An investigation is ongoing.
