Granada Hills: Officers Aid Man Injured In Drive-By Shooting
03.31.2020 | 1:30 AM | LOS ANGELES – Officers quickly helped a man who was struck by gunfire in a drive-by shooting, early Sunday morning.
Police officers responded to the reported shooting with a victim down in the 10400 block of Monogram Avenue in the Granada Hills area around 1:30 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a victim down in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
The officers quickly applied a tourniquet to the victims arm.
Firefighter paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the man to an area trauma center in unknown condition.
Initial reports indicate two black male adult drove up to the man in a black sedan and opened fire.
A citizen who witnessed the shooting attempted to follow the suspects but lost sight of them near Vanowen and the I-405 Freeway.
The scene of the shooting was cordoned off while authorities investigated.
