Granada Hills: Motor Officer Injured After Crash

06.17.2020 | 8:36 PM | LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured after being involved in a crash with another motorist, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motor officer near the intersection of North Balboa Boulevard and Westbury Drive in the Granada Hills area around 8:36 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a LAPD motor officer on the ground and immediately rendered aid.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the officer to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

Initial reports indicate that another driver collided with the motor officer but it was unclear if that driver remained on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
