Granada Hills: Fire Burns Through Home

08.17.2019 | 3:29 AM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in a guest house and quickly spread, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire in the 17300 block of Westbury Drive in the Granada Hills area around 3:29 AM.

Units arriving on scene found heavy smoke and fire showing from a guest house to the rear of a property.

Crews worked to quickly extinguish the flames which spread to nearby cypress trees and vegetation.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
