Good Samaritans Take Down Car Thief After Crashing Twice | San Diego
09.21.2021 | 9:40 AM | SAN DIEGO – The owner of BB’s Deli was unloading supplies from his parked Chrysler 300 when a young woman jumped into the car and attempted to drive away.
The owner jumped to action and ran over and tried to pull the suspect out of the car.
The female put the car into reverse and hit the parked vehicle behind her.
The car then hit another car that was behind it.
The owner again was trying to pull the female out of his car, and she hit the gas.
This time, she went approx 30 yards in reverse and across all lanes of travel and hit a second parked car that was across the street.
The owner was then able to pull the thief out of the car and she tried to leave on foot.
6 Good Samaritans chased her down A St and took her down.
One female Good Samaritan injured a leg and was transported to a local hospital for her injury.
The suspect just turned 20 and has already been arrested 9 previous times and was reportedly on some type of narcotic on this occasion.
