Good Samaritans Attempt to Save Male Trapped Under Pickup | El Cajon

LOCATION: 557 El Cajon Blvd.

DETAILS:

A male was crossing El Cjon Blvd on an electric scooter and had entered the #1 lane.

The male driver of a truck did not see the scooter rider in time and slammed on his brakes.

The truck hit the victim and the victim became trapped under the truck.

Several Good Samaritans ran to help the victim and 2 males grabbed floor/vehicle lifts from the SDPRO AUTO shop and lifted the truck off of the male.

911 Operators told the Good Samaritans to not move the male and wait for the 1st Responders.

The male was transported to Sharp Memorial with Life-threatening injuries & later pronounced deceased.

The driver is cooperating with the Police.

The westbound lanes on the 500 block of El Cajon Blvd. are closed for the investigation.
