Gnarly High Speed Wreck Traps Driver | Maywood

02.02.2021 | 3:36 PM | MAYWOOD – Officials responded to reports of a traffic collision with entrapment near the intersection of E Slauson Avenue and Alamo Avenue in the City of Maywood. When units arrived on scene they found one truck overturned with a male driver trapped. LACoFD worked for about 10-15 minutes to free the driver. The driver was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. According to witnesses not on camera, the truck hit 2 poles at high speed and overturned several times before coming to a rest. Debris form both the poles and the truck spread a large area around the scene. One tire from the truck even ended up in the city of Vernon across the street from the scene.
