Glendora: Firefighters Rescue Cat From House Fire

07.01.2019 | 10:30 PM | GLENDORA – Firefighters rescued a cat from a burning home, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 900 block of East Danehurst Avenue around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a single-story residence with smoke and fire showing and quickly extinguished the flames.

While searching the home firefighters located an unconscious cat and removed it from the home before providing it with oxygen.

Within minutes the cat awoke and was expected to survive.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
