Glendale Police Investigate Fiery Crash

DETAILS:

1. Glendale Police and Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle collision with one vehicle on fire at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Peoria Avenue around 2:30 AM.
2. Upon arrival crews located a pickup truck on its side in the landscaping of a gas station and a Dodge Charger sedan with severe front end damage just west of the intersection.
3. Firefighters extinguished a fire in the Chargers engine bay and transported 1 individual in unknown condition via Maricopa Ambulance.
4. Peoria Avenue is closed in both directions west of 51st Avenue as Glendale Police investigate the incident.
