Girlfriend Struck & Killed on 105 Freeway

DETAILS:

1. A woman was struck and killed by a car after getting out of a black Mustang and running into freeway lanes Thursday morning
2. CHP officers received they body lanes shortly after 1:45 AM this morning
3. LA county firefighters were first to arrive to find the female unconscious and not breathing and began performing CPR
4. The boyfriend of the victim called 911 stating that fee female got out of his car after they pulled over and ran into lanes of trouble, when she was struck by a gray Lexus sedan
5. After she was struck, the boyfriend pulled the woman back to the right shoulder and out of travel lanes prior to the authorities arriving
6. LA County fire paramedics declared the woman deceased at the scene
7. It is unclear why the woman ran onto the freeway. At least three lanes are blocked at this time pending further investigation by the CHP.
8. The Lexus driver, who struck the victim, remained on scene and cooperated with authorities
