Ghost Gun & Hatchet Recovered From SDSU College Party After Fight Breaks Out | San Diego

08.20.2022 | 12:20 AM | SAN DIEGO – It is the first weekend of students returning to San Diego State University and there are parties happening everywhere around the campus. At one large party with over 150 people present, a fight broke out between 2-3 males in the backyard. The male victim was attacked and suffered facial and other injuries. One of the suspects then pulled a hatchet out of his backpack, while the 2nd suspect then showed a handgun. The 2 suspects then fled southbound on College Ave. Officers found the suspects and detained them. An officer saw the suspects throw something into some bushes and a search was conducted. Both the hatchet and the gun were recovered. The gun is an unserialized (Ghost Gun). A witness positively identified the two males as the suspects and the suspects were arrested.
