Gardena: Shooting Death Prompts Homicide Investigation

07.28.2019 | 6:01 PM | GARDENA – Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was shot to death, Sunday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 15300 block of South Crenshaw around 6:01 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down on the sidewalk suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the male victim deceased on scene.

Deputies established a large perimeter while detectives responded to investigate the shooting death.
