Gardena: Pursuit Ends In Multi-Vehicle Crash

07.07.2019 | 2:19 AM | GARDENA – A pursuit of a suspected DUI driver ended in a multi-vehicle crash, early Sunday morning.

Authorities attempted to stop a reckless driver on suspicion of DUI around 1:50 AM in Gardena.

The driver of the vehicle failed to yield to officers, leading them on a pursuit throughout the South Los Angeles.

At points the suspect traveled wrong-way in attempt to evade officers before eventually crashing near the intersection of SR-110 and Rosecrans Avenue.

An innocent motorist and a police vehicle, along with the suspect, were all involved in the crash.

Luckily, no officers were injured and the innocent civilian motorist suffered only minor injuries.

The suspect was quickly apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
