Gardena: Car-to-Car Shooting Injures Man, Two Boys
07.05.2020 | 10:45 PM | GARDENA – Three people including two boys were injured in a car-to-car shooting, Sunday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 15000 block of Avalon Boulevard, near Compton Boulevard, around 10:45 PM.
Deputies arriving on scene learned that a white Chevrolet sedan occupied by a male adult driver and two boys, aged 11 and 14, was traveling southbound on Avalon Boulevard when another vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire.
The shooting injured all three occupants of the Chevrolet, including the driver who was hospitalized in critical condition.
No suspect description was immediately available but anyone with information was urged to contact the Los Angeles Sheriff Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
