Garden Grove: Taco Truck Robbed By Armed Man
10.08.2019 | 9:10 PM | GARDEN GROVE – An man armed with a handgun robbed a taco truck, Monday night.
Authorities responded to reports of an armed robbery at the intersection of Euclid Street and Hazard Avenue around 9:10 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a taco truck and learned that the employees had been robbed.
Initial reports indicated a suspect approached the taco truck and pulled out a semi-automatic handgun before demanding cash.
The employees complies and the suspect took off with several hundred dollars in cash.
Police believe the robbery may be connected to several other food truck robberies in the area.
The suspect is described as a male black, approximately 40 to 50 years-old, 6 feet tall and weighing 250 to 300 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt, and grey shorts.
Witnesses say the man fled the scene in a silver Jeep Cherokee.
