Garden Grove: Pursuit Suspects Crash Into Home

06.13.2019 | 2:15 AM | GARDEN GROVE – Two suspected burglars who stole marijuana plants from a home using replica firearms were in police custody after crashing into a home while fleeing from officers, Wednesday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a older model Ford SUV they suspected to be related to the burglary of marijuana plants in the city of Santa Ana round 2:00 AM.

The vehicle failed to yield to officers, leading them on a brief pursuit into the city of Garden Grove before crashing into a home in the 10400 block of Hazard Avenue.

Both suspects fled the crashed vehicle but were quickly apprehended.

Two replica handguns along with the stolen marijuana plants were recovered from the vehicle.
