Garden Grove: Man Shot During Attack Outside Elementary School

05.06.2020 | 12:10 AM | GARDEN GROVE – A man was shot during an attack by a suspect who fled the scene before police arrives, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting outside the Zeyen Elementary School located in the 12800 block of Magnolia Street, near Chapman Avenue, around 12:10 AM.

Units arriving on scene locate a male victim suffering a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area trauma center in stable condition.

Initial reports indicate the victim was walking southbound on Magnolia Street when a suspect approached him before shooting.

The suspect then fled the scene in a dark colored truck.

A motive or suspect description was not immediately available.
