Garden Grove: Family Displaced After House Fire

06.24.2019 | 1:30 AM | GARDEN GROVE – A family of 11 was displaced after their home burned during an early morning fire, Monday.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 11500 block of Mac Street around 1:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a single-story residence with heavy smoke and fire showing.

Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and extinguished the blaze within 15 minutes.

Damage to the structure rendered it uninhabitable, displacing the 11 people who lived there.

The Red Cross was responding to assist the displaced residents.

No injuries were reported and the circumstances surrounding the fire remain under investigation.
