Garden Grove: El Pollo Loco Robbed By Armed Man

08.04.2019 | 9:40 PM | GARDEN GROVE – An El Pollo Loco restaurant was robbed at gunpoint by a man to later fled, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of an armed robbery at the El Pollo Loco located in the 12900 block of Harbor Boulevard around 9:40 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered that an armed man had entered the store and displayed a handgun before demanding cash from an employee.

The employee, who was only on his second day of the job, complied and handed over an unknown armount of cash prompting the suspect to flee on foot.

The suspect was described only as a male hispanics with a shaved head.

Officers are on scene collecting physical and forensic evidence.
