Garage Fire Threatens Home in Palmdale

At approximately 8:32pm on March 30th, 2026, Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to a reported structure fire on East Sage Court in Palmdale.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from the garage and confirmed a working fire that had begun to extend into the attic and interior of the home.

Crews quickly knocked down the fire and were able to contain it primarily to the garage area, preventing further damage to the residence. A vehicle was reported to be inside the garage at the time of the fire.

Firefighters remained on scene for over an hour to ensure full extinguishment. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
