Garage Fire Spreads Surrounding Garages

DETAILS:

1. A garage was destroyed, and two other garages from neighboring homes were damaged after power lines fell onto the structure on New Year’s Eve
2. Firefighters were called to the area regarding a house fire
3. When they arrived, firefighters found a detached garage well that was well-inflamed; however, they could not access the structure due to downed power lines across the street.
4. The fire grew and damaged a garage to the north and another to the east.
5. A second alarm response was requested by fire officials to assist with the complex firefight
6. No injuries were reported in the blaze. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to fully knock down the blaze. To begin with, it is unclear how the power line fell.
