Fully Involved Residential Structure Fire | Phoenix

05.25.2022 | 12:00 AM | PHOENIX – Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a fire located near 2nd Place and Durango Street around 12:00 AM Wednesday morning. Upon arrival crews found a fully involved residential structure fire. Firefighters quickly balanced the assignment to a working fire and took a defensive posture for fire attack. Crews deployed multiple handlines surrounding the exterior of the structure, battling the flames from several angles. Crews quickly brought the fire under control successfully stopping the blaze from extending to any nearby properties. According to neighbors, the property is believed to be vacant.
