Fullerton: Parolee Arrested By Police K9 After Pursuit
06.13.2019 | 9:40 PM | FULLERTON – A parolee was in-custody after a police pursuit and subsequent crash, Thursday night.
Officers attempted to stop a man suspected of being a parolee-at-large at a gas station near the intersection of Placentia Avenue and Yorba Linda Boulevard around 9:40 PM.
The suspect failed to comply with officers and fled, striking one vehicle and possibly an officer in the process.
Units continued to chase the suspect into a residential area where he crashed into a gate and took off on foot.
A large perimeter was established and a police K9 eventually apprehended the man who was hiding behind a shed in the 1900 block of Dana Street around 1:00 AM.
Firefighter paramedics treated the suspect on scene before transporting him to an area hospital for bite wounds.
An investigation is ongoing.
