Fullerton: Freeway Crash Leaves Two Dead

08.06.2020 | 11:24 PM | FULLERTON – Two people were dead and another was injured after a rollover freeway crash, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a rollover traffic collision on the southbound SR-57 Freeway near Nutwood Avenue around 11:24 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a heavily damaged sedan that had rolled over.

Good samaritans uprighted the vehicle but the three occupants inside were trapped.

Firefighters worked to free one of the trapped victims before rushing them to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Two other victims, a female driver and male passenger, were pronounced deceased on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
