Fountain Valley: Roof Collapses Amid Heavy Rains

01.16.2019 | 2:27 AM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – The roof of a commercial building collapsed as a result of heavy rains, Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the reported collapse at a building in the 17000 block of Mt. Herrmann Street around 2:27 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a single-story commercial building with a roof that had partially collapsed.

Officials secured the scene and requested building officials respond to evaluate the damage.

No injuries were reported and the building was unoccupied at the time of the collapse.
