Fountain Valley: Numerous Cars Damaged After Garage Fire

11.05.2018 | 10:40 PM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – Multiple cars were damaged after a garage fire spread in an apartment complex, Monday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at the apartment complex located in the 9600 block of El Rey Avenue around 10:40 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found fire showing from multiple garages inside the complex and immediately began efforts to attack the blaze.

After approximately 30 minutes firefighters had knock down of the blaze.

At least eight garages, and several vehicles, suffered damage from the fire.

No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to the garage area.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
