Fountain Valley: Man Dead After Suspected Hit & Run Crash

06.23.2020 | 11:05 PM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – A man who was found down in the middle of a street was dead after a suspected hit-and-run crash, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a man down in the 10100 block of San Mateo Street around 11:05 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an unresponsive man down in the roadway.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officers are investigating the incident as a suspected hit-and-run crash.
