Fontana: Tow Truck Driver Finds Man Dead Next To Car On Freeway

01.29.2020 | 10:46 PM | FONTANA – A man was found dead next to his vehicle by a tow truck driver, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a man down next to his vehicle on the side of the westbound I-10 Freeway near Cherry Avenue around 10:46 PM.

A tow truck driver arriving on scene located a man deceased next to a vehicle on the side of the road.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the male victim deceased on scene. Reports from the scene indicate the man may have been shot with a firearm.

No additional circumstances were immediately available.
