Fontana: Teen Shot While Leaving Halloween Party

10.27.2019 | 1:00 AM | FONTANA – A teen was injured after being shot while leaving a Halloween party, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim injured near the intersection of Hawthorne and Palmetto avenues around 1:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a vehicle occupied by a two teenagers, one male and one female.  The male victim was suffering from injuries related to a gunshot wound.

The teenagers reported they had been leaving a Halloween party when a suspect drove by their vehicle and opened fire.

Firefighter paramedics treated the male victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
