Fontana PD Unit Crashes into Front Yard During Pursuit

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-4-25 about 2:45 AM
LOCATION: Slover Ave x Linden Ave.
AREA/CITY: Bloomington
DETAILS:

  1. On May 4th, 2025, at about 2:45 AM, Fontana PD was in pursuit of a vehicle for an unknown reason.
  2. The pursuit ended at the intersection of Slover Avenue and Linden Avenue when both the suspect vehicle and a patrol vehicle crashed, leaving the patrol vehicle in the front yard of the corner house.
  3. No officers were injured and at least one person took footbail from the vehicle and is believed to be still outstanding.
  4. No occupants of the home were injured in the collision.
  5. No other details were provided at the scene.
  6. CHP was requested to handle the crash investigation.
