Fontana: Man Hospitalized by Suspected Road-Rage Shooting

04.04.2019 | 9:55 PM | FONTANA – A suspected road-rage shooting left one man hospitalized, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to the reported shooting near the intersection of Randall and Marcona avenues in unincorporated Fontana around 9:55 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a male gunshot victim in a car.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital.

Initial reports indicate some sort of verbal argument escalated when a man approached the victim’s vehicle and opened fire.

The suspect then fled the area in an unknown type vehicle.

Officers cordoned off the area while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
